Festive Neon

Stepping into the year of festivities, not all have some shopping - time off & what better than creating your own style this year, I turned to my wardrobe to find something fusion, a mix , something  different. In the process I created my own 'neon crop top'. - Simple as it gets - found the perfect material , went on a pinterest spree to find some styles, got it stitched & my fusion outfit was created by adding my favourite black skirt, accessories & make -up. I was pretty surprised by how all the colours and the fit came together, Nothing better than imagining a look in your mind and transforming it into pictures that speak your style.

Its a modern silhouette , I was greeted with so many compliments when I wore the same outfit to a 'Nucleya' concert and it instantly reminded me how one outfit can be worn in so many different ways and the world of fusion is vast and is created by mixing styles together to create its own.

Hope you guys have a wonderful festive season , Happy Diwali

Sun-Seeking Gypsy

My favourite article of clothing that represents beauty, fun & comfort is definitely the kimono.

Contemporary kimonos have been given a modern update - Prints, fringe, colours etc. Its a perfect cover-up & an overall which instantly brightens up the look & gives a cool-boho vibe.

When you talk about boho, the brand that flashes right in front is- Aanya. Inspired by vibrant cultures you can find the most creative and fun pieces on their website.

For this look, I am flaunting the 'Kaia' Kimono with a tasseled hem. The loosely-fit , open-front kimono falls mid thigh with oversized tasseled sleeves and also has side pockets.

I paired this kimono with a plain white dress, reminding me of a bright blue sky on a spring day.

With a brand that does boho-chic on point, they have an amazing collection of bags & totes , In this post I am carrying the 'Weekender Tote'  - vintage faux suede travel bag. Handmade by local artisans using one-of-a-kind banjara, Afghani, Kutch patches, which include embroidery details, mirrors, beads and stones. Comes with sturdy handle straps and adjustable/removable suede shoulder strap.
