Happy Colours Featuring: Quirk Box

There are a few colour combinations that I never get enough of - Orange,White & Blue are my go to colours this season. This vibrant pairing was definitely a mood enhancer.

The weather was pleasant yet sunny and my Quirky Typewriter Long Shirt from Quirkbox was so light and summer friendly, The innovative prints of typewriters gave a fun twist to a plain white shirt. I'm all about their unique graphic prints, they bring out such a fun side to a casual outfit & nothing beats a great combination of a white shirt with blue faded denim jeans.

To add more colour to this outfit I paired this look with my orange neon tank and The Stupid Cupid Embroidered Clutch from Quirkbox, The clutch has fun cupid cartoon like characters & horizontal colourful borders, Its foldable and fits everything! (A girl's necessity)

Wishing you cool breezes in this summer heat, Have a great weekend & a big Thankyou to quirk box for letting me flaunt their amazing collection. You can find out more & buy at

A Quirky Mermaid - Featuring : Quirk Box

I am already in Summer Mode & it's only April. The temps here in Pune are heating up, And nothing better to kick off this warm weather with this colourful, fun & exciting collection from quick box! When they asked me to collaborate I instantly said a big fat yes! Their prints are unique and its so easy to pair them up. I styled this White Minion Bolero Jacket with my turquoise green mermaid dress and added the Stuck With Stupid Embroidered Clutch.

I love how the colours went so well together and created a perfect summer colour palette. The minion vest is so summer friendly its short, with cap sleeves and its a great light cover-up for girls who shy sleeveless dresses like me!

This colourful look definitely got my inner-quirk mode on. Its inspired me to try more clothes with unique prints.

Rimmel London : Apocalips Lip Lacquer

Happy Sunday!
Today's beauty post is dedicated to these new Rimmel London -Lip Lacquers. Its not a lipstick its not a gloss, Its Bigger & Better! (As Rimmel promotes it ) This is the first time I have actually bought & tried liquid lipsticks. I was instantly surprised by the texture, pigmentation and appearance. Liquid Lipsticks are a clever combination, they look quite glossy but dry matte. One trick before applying a liquid lipstick is to exfoliate & hydrate your lips really well.

When it comes to Rimmel's lip lacquers its an overall great drugstore product.
- The Pigmentation  of these lip products are amazing! the bright colours have a great colour payoff but you have to build the nude ones up.
- The Texture is great, It doesn't dry your lips & glides on smooth.
- The Longevity is alright. You sip and eat- it might wash off, but I mostly find that problem with every lip gloss or lipstick. For me it lasts for about 3 hours.
- The Fragrance really put me off at first, It has a very odd & artificial smell, However after applying, the smell doesn't linger anymore (Phew!) So if you're all about fruity lipsticks you might take some time getting used to this one.

Overall the best part about these lip lacquers is the opacity of the colours! They come in many different shades.  Three different ones I picked up was a - Red with a pink undertone ( 401 Aurora ) Peachy Nude  (500 Luna) & shocking pink (303 Apocaliptic)

So if you're new to lip-stains that has the intensity of a lipstick but the shine of a gloss then these with no doubt will be the best ones to try.

If you have already tried these, I would love to hear your thoughts!
Also which colour do you like the best on me?
Thanks for reading
