Boho-Chic Vibe

Hey loves! Here is a new & exciting fashion post. I bought this bright red maxi skirt a week back & couldn't wait to style & post it. Isn't it so summer friendly? Its pleated in the front with elastic at the back. It made me look taller, and did a great job hiding the hips & complementing my waistline. Long maxi skirts are definitely going to be my ultimate substitute for 'short shorts' (future goals). I paired this skirt with an animal print off shoulder top and instantly felt like a 'Goa Girl'. Since I already looked pretty bohemian I went all out with accessorising - big necklace, bangles and kholapuri chappals, air dried my hair and ran all around this open field. Not lying the sun & me had issues -I had a makeup-meltdown, The heat absolutely drained my energy (Serious weather war) but my team got me through it. Shoutout to Mehak Bhagwani & Tina Lakhani (#DreamTeam)
If you are an apple, pear or hourglass body type, curvy women can look beautiful with the right type of skirt. A-line skirts, pencil skirts & maxi skirts complement voluptuous bodies very well. Give it a try this summer you might be surprised.

Black & Purple Dramatic Makeup Look

Hey beauties!
I am back with an another makeup look inspired by Shaanxo  , I saw her tutorial on this grunge dramatic look & thought to myself it was high time I attempted my greatest makeup fear - The smokey eye, & I was pretty astonished with the results, Smokey eyes can be quite challenging & scary, I have tried it in the past & ended up with 'panda eyes' but the more I attempted the look it got better & as its said out there the key to a perfect smokey eye is blending & I couldn't agree more. Instead of going for an entire black eye lid I added transition shades & hints of maroon & purple to give it more dimension & colour. I used the balm palette as well as the Elf cosmetics flawless eyeshadow palette for this look. On my lid I used the balm cosmetics matte black colour called  'Serious' & in the crease I used 'Sultry' brown from the same palette as a transition shade. After I was done blending out both the brown and the black I went over to the purples, I slowly started adding a light and a dark shade of purple from the Elf cosmetics palette & blended it out with a large fluffy blending brush. The look was completed with the help of my trusted classic wingled eyeliner with 4 coats of my favourite mascara, this look indeed needed false lashes but I ran out of them (#BeautyBloggerProblems) 'Hence the infinite amount of mascara'  - The specific products are mentioned below.
The highlight of this look is definitely the eyes and lips - I wore my favourite MAC rebel lipstick. The eyes and the lips compliment each other so well especially because they have the same shades & colour scheme going on .
For my skin I used my everyday foundation routine
Hope you guys enjoyed this post !
Have a great day & thanks for reading

#HappyHairChallenge - Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Verdict

It Works
The challenge comes to an end. I am so happy with the results, its been my 'hair love' for an entire month and its definitely going to continue. This product along with the conditioner does indeed strengthen & help restore smoothness & shine from continual use.

Things I love -
Its an oil based shampoo, So it really does the job of nourishing dry hair.
It leaves the hair so smooth, straight & soft after every wash.
The fragrance of the shampoo is the best part .
Its a great product for 'everyday' hair wash.
The conditioner does it all. Its a thick cream consistency which is as good as a hair spa product.

The only problem I had with the shampoo is that it dint quite lather as much, so I had to use more product to wash my hair. But The overall effect is great!

I absolutely recommend this product

Happy Women's Day!

Happy Women's Day!
Yes! International women's day is actually a thing. In some countries its even considered a national holiday & for me its a perfect opportunity to play dress up. Its great to see that there is a 'day& date' to honour women, its something that went down in history when it came to respect & equality but the struggle still continues in everyday world. Nevertheless this day sheds some light over on the importance of a right for women to be able to do more than what society fits for them. Being a fashion & beauty blogger the competition is real I face my own little struggles but knowing that I am worthy enough, being on my own mission and winning out of it, is the best feeling to be described. Every women should feel that way.

I kept it quite simple for today special OOTD (because you can be glamours with a pair of black denims & a simple white tee) I had to wear these gorgeous pair of red shoes to complete this look because which women doesn't feel sexy in high red stilettos?

Thanks for reading!

I am allowed to look sexy, feel sexy I am worth more than a waistline, I am worthy of all those things & so are you.

Base Face - My foundation & Concealer Routine

Happy Sunday Beauties!
Make-up to me is so much about experimenting what works for you & what doesn't. I have tried & tested everything & finally succeeded at what works best for my skin. The biggest problem I face when it comes to foundations & concealers is that it doesn't 'Last Long' certain parts of my face especially the chin area literally eats up all the makeup I applied an hour back. After a lot of experimenting I am satisfied with these products and absolutely love the way it feels & looks.

Sephora Primer- This product is a very recent addition to my makeup-routine & now I can't go a day without it. Some primers can really work you and some don't. Hands down this does the job of a perfect primer - It smooths the skin, It helps my makeup last all day long & my most favourite part- It makes it so easy to bled my foundation.

Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation - I started applying this foundation 3 months back and it hasn't left my face ever since. It was so easy to find the perfect shade when it came to this foundation. Because of my skin colour I have always picked up cool and pink toned foundation which tend to look ashy at the end of the day. But this is the perfect warm- toned foundation & surprisingly works best for my skin. The coverage is light-medium but easily buildable. The best part about this foundation is that - Its not greasy, doesn't make the skin oily & last all day. This ones a big winner!

Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch - Ivory - This concealer brings me back to my teenage years. This was the only product I used when it came to make up back then. This works really well as a highlighter not just in the under eye but all over the face.

MAC pro-conceal and correct palette/medium- The thing about this product is that you get so many different shades that you can use all year round. The colour of my skin is always changing so instead of purchasing three different concealers I just bought this one product, pricey but worth it. The concealers are thick & creamy but works wonders for highlighting & covering blemishes.

MAC fix plus - Saved the best for the last. In the beginning the only time I used this product was to intensify my eye shadows but now I have a different story with it. I love what this product does especially when misted after applying makeup, it gives a lovely finish & leaves the skin feeling refreshed.
