Winter Special

Happy Holidays!
This is the perfect time of the year to get dolled up' Gatherings with family and partying with friends.  Last Christmas I went all white and red in Hongkong! You can check that post here. This year I spent my holidays in Pune itself & I am so glad that I took advantage of this gorgeous weather, I did all the traditional winter spirit things, Hot chocolates, long cold drives, some baileys with cake and whiskey with my buds, hot tom yum soup and cuddles with my fur baby.

In this fashion post, I bought out my sparkly and shiny gear. My beautiful skirt is from Zara which I picked up last summer on discount and waited all year to spin around in it. I paired the skirt with my knit silver top from westside, red heels and my black clutch from accessorize.

I am so excited for new years, Most probably I will keep it low key, chilling at home in my jammies but if you are going to hit the town and partying up, this is a great example of an outfit you could wear as well.

Hope you enjoyed this post, Have yourself a very Merry Christmas, Count your blessings and be thankful, Get excited for next year and all the beautiful things your are going to accomplish.

Classic All Black Smokey Eye

The smokey eye is one of the most sexiest eye looks out there,  Neutral and dramatic eyes look pretty neat but there is something about the smudgy and smoked looks, The messier the better. You can't go wrong with this one.

I first applied a gel eye liner all over the lids and before it dries out I applied a matte black eye shadow form the balm nude'tude palette, I kept repeating this process till I got my desired intense black.

I smudged out my lower lash line with the same gel eyeliner with a pencil brush and topped it with the black eyeshadow. I definitely recommend using false eyelashes with this look, it makes it look so glamours and then topped with two coats of mascara for volume to complete the eye look.

Since the eyes are quite dramatic, I feel the smokey eye looks best with a neutral face. I applied a miss claire gold blush all over the cheeks and a little bit on the nose for that extra glow & my favourite part that completed my look is my new MAC taupe lipstick, a perfect nude shade for Indian skin tone.

The smokey eye can look quite intimidating , But its not. Its all about adding and blending. This was my first try at it and I'm happily surprised at how well it turned out.
Hope you can apply some tips and tricks from this post and give the classic smokey eye a try!

Earthy Tones

There are certain outfits which make you feel like a strong powerful character of a famous TV show or movie. This maxi dress is definitely one of them. I have been on the lookout for this one brand which is taken a unique trend to the next level. Missa More is one such fashion company which is bringing out fast fashion styles which is easily wearable and affordable.

The high-slit trend is ruling at the moment. Its cheerful and sexy at the same time. The most fun lies in picking out what to pair these amazing dresses with. I paired mine with olive green jeggings from M&S which completed the entire look.

Missa More recently launched its plus-size store, which I am completely stoked and proud about, Being a plus-size fashion blogger, I am always on board with brands creating wider ranges of sizes and doing it in style. So laddies, Head over to Missa More  & Get ready to start adding to cart.
